here I stand

and there you fall

here I plan

and hear you call

a one worthy to oppose

yet let down like all the rest

yet maybe I shall find him one day

for my heart

but not one to fight

not physically

yet mentally

I don’t show for fear to make

the others back down

they promised a challenge my age

yet all I got was a 57 year old

yet he passed

like my hope

one that has not shown

one that shall hopefully equal
