Mother
Mother..
She is intelligent, but emotional.
She is a wise woman, she cares for nothing more,
Than the safety of her young child.
She loves him, so very much.
“..Henry, and I’ve put in all yer best shirts,
Because I want my boy to be jest as warm and comf’able as anybody in the army.”
“Ma I’ve enlisted..”
“Henry DON'T be a FOOL”
He was truly disappointed, confused to say the least.
For his mother did not say much.
She made him question his youthful thinking, on what war was really like.
But she could not stop, her son from following his heart,
But it made him search for a purpose, in the reason why he was going to war.
“He bowed his head and went on, feeling suddenly ashamed of his purposes”
