Failed Outlet

MY OUTLET:
My outlet has failed me
My thoughts got to me
God I wish they hadn't
I tried to ease my thoughts and sooth my pain
Then only made it worse
All the thoughts I pushed to the back of my head came
Hitting we with a vengeance,
I have never felt before
I had to fight with my inner thoughts
While trying to pursue the biggest smile on my face in front of others
But then it hits me.
Who am I really trying to convince?
Them or myself.
