Just Like Me
Sadness. Pain. Madness. Rain.
The weather is how I'm feeling.
Today was not a good day.
As I walk, my rainboots splash in the puddles.
A car speeds by, but luckily my raincoat shields me from the water.
I try to hurry home; the longer I'm out here, the more my feelings deepen.
I see someone walking, not paying attention to
where they were going.
They bump into me.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" I shout.
They look up at me, and I gasp.
It was a completely different person, only they look just, like, me.
