Hairs

My family has light brown hair--my brother, my sister, my mom, and me. Hair that falls straight down. Hair that slides right through the palms of your hand. My sister’s hair is nearly identical to mine--straight, light brown, and more than half way down our back. Confusing my mom of who’s who from behind. My mom’s light brown hair falls to her shoulders--styled to hide her old age greys. My brother--short, straight, and slightly lighter.
My dad’s hair is different. A rich dark brown, covering only half his head. Combed to the side and back, lightly covering the shiny bald spot. Releasing the odor of Crew styling cream, like freshly molded clay. My family has light brown hair. But not my dad.
