Looking into the glass, what I sight I see!
I see a young girl condescendingly staring back,
And identical to me!

Beady eyes, head up high, just a little snooty,
Curly, brown boundless locks
Oh, what a young enchanting beauty!

A girl adoring the wonders of science,
And boasting an undying passion for music,
A precocious complex mind, from birth ever since!

Ever so obliging with beauty and brains,
Plus, a twist of sarcasm and arrogance,
Veiled in pure brilliance, in her world she reigns!

She is confident, assertive, and changing the world,
With her reading, clarinet playing, gazing at the sky,
Success is certain for this joyous young girl!

Looking into the glass, what I sight I see!
The young girl I analyzed,
Is merely and perfectly egotistical me!

Looking Into the Glass is a simple free-verse poem, about my own perception of me, and my abilities.
