Autumn was...

Palms on
the frosted glass,
observing
the apple crumble
we agreed on.
Grasping
the snug embrace
of the plaid
fuzzy blanket.
Concentrating
on a captivating book,
listening to the
scolding fire,
let its embers
fly to the sky.
Road trips,
that consume our weekends,
pass by;
providing us
a new color
to our pallet.
Autumn was enchanting.
