molten lava

he’s the molten lava liquefying your insides
spewing out the deadly ash
that covers everything the sun has ever touched
he’s the poison in my veins
spreading out
coagulating my never beating heart
he’s intoxication personified
clouding my once crystal clear mind
he’s deadly disease
crumbling and devouring every healthy cell
he’s the cage i live in
and oh, i’ve swallowed the key
he’s the recurring nightmare
that has become my reality
he’s my fate
destroying my future
