The Blind Man

How am I seen
in the blind man's eye
where I am something else
or nothing at all?
What traits will the blind man give me
when none are to be seen?
I will always wonder
but never know.
I do not know the blind man,
but he knows me
better than I can ever know myself.
Is it not he that is impaired,
but us that never see?
