Shape of the Wind
Wind.
What’s the shape of the wind –
do you know?
Brown little squirrel waggles
its furry tail
and mysteriously says,
“wind is round,
when it comes,
round and round
go the yellow leaves on the ground.”
Charming rabbit
shakes its head,
and gently says,
wind is like a hand,
when it comes,
away it takes the leaves on the branches.
“Maybe wind has no shape”,
astute little monkey says.
“It wanders around all day long,
and never stops its steps.”
Woosh!
A gust of wind suddenly rushes through.
Little deer
steps forward
and boldly asks,
“Miss wind,
What’s your shape,
can you tell us?”
The wind seems not to hear
and picks up speed.
Woo! Woo!
The animals laugh.
Even Miss Wind
herself
does not know
her own shape.
