It will all be alright on the other side of the Iron fence.
Verse 1:
Everything is going to have to change,
Whole entire world,
What do I do,
Where can I run,
I do not know what to say,
Out of shock,
Feel the chain in a clasp,
Everything around here has to change.
Verse 2:
See my life in flashbacks on the semi ranch,
Look and not a year ago,
I would have jumped on this chance quicker than me,
Than me,
I wonder what they all see,
In my life all I see is a good with a bruised attitude and two scraped knees,
I can’t see beyond the blur that the girl behind the iron fence is me.
All I had to do was simply breathe,
To this day even though my mental scars always seem to show,
It seems like people are starting to believe in me,
That belief fixed my life for centuries,
Now I can see past my scraped knee,
Glows the point of reality,
Hope says 50-50 chance,
It will all be alright.
