Veils
i am
alone.
sitting in the dark.
with only the world.
but still,
i cannot help
but feel.
people breathing,
on my neck.
reminds me
of their presence.
they tell me
"why are you doing this?"
"you have my attention, now stop."
"you don't need help."
but can't they see
that they are blinded by
their do gooding,
and small donations.
am i
the only one,
that has pulled back the veil
that is
false pretenses?
