My Dream That Was.
You study viruses for a living,
My dream this is.
You then start to wonder as you pick up the stray bottle,
What defines a virus,
A sickness due to this earth?
An uneasy swish of germs?
A virus they do say repeats the nation,
How do we put viruses in a dictionary?
How do we define these living insects of torture?
My dream this is.
I have an uneasy mineral in my brain.
A virus?
One might think,
Deep in this tale,
Leads a girl with no glory,
Whom let down the circuses of the silver knowledge novels,
The rounded tips this girl was here to discover a new truth with in living,
Anxious I am.
Which is why I am suffering within a circling virus,
On the inside of my flooded brain.
My dream that was.
