Squally winds, sweet air, gold sky.
Death creeps in; I face fire.
Time passes. Falling taunts me.
I lose the war. Mother nature wins.
Time has come, to join the pile.
Stem freed, branch gone...home drifts away.

This is written in a Korean poetic form called sijo.
