i am human too

I am considered less than you,
but I am human too.
I was discredited for my race,
beat and bludgeoned with sticks and mace.
I suffer from discrimination,
In the “great and holy nation”.
I can't do much stuff,
my opportunities are rough and tough.
I get hurt due to my culture,
people attack me like vultures.
You can beat on me,
You can knock me down but I will bounce,
Be prepared because I will pounce.
You can try to shoo me away,
but I am human too and here to stay.
