Legions of people slave away unceasing.
Detrimental work with inadequate reward.
They endured hardships for superiors,
shaping this wonder, hindering the common man.
Pharaohs slumber in their sandy tombs,
resting with past life riches.
The Great Sphinx keeps surveillance.
Shaping this wonder, hindering the common man.
Towering above earth, facing true north,
Touching the heavens, recognized from space.
Aging only compliments it’s true beauty.
Shaping this wonder, hindering the common man.
