laughing, eyes
sparkling with a mirth,
i can’t
understand why.
what are you
saying to me
lips going through the
motions.
you could be threatening
me, or proposing
marriage.
i need to
understand you,
and to see
you, but you
are talking to a
stranger, on the other side of
the planet,
not even knowing me.
what do you
think, what do you
feel.
culture is so
different,
but i want to see
our world
from a stranger’s
eyes, and footsteps.
