This girl I know always posts pictures of
Her boyfriend
Kissing her; on that site, you know the one
Most of the time, I think
‘For Christ’s sake! You’re a teenager, a
Promiscuous one at that;
I think that’s the fifth boy this month you’ve fallen in love with!’
I then think about
When I was one of the boys
Who felt a faint, melancholy love
To only be rotated out, for the next-
Perhaps it’s too complex to say he’s just trying to use her-
But I doubt it.
I’ll like her photo.
Someone comments,
“You two look like you were made for each other!”
Yes, made for each other-
The cat and mouse.
