Tongue loosens in my silent mouth
Breaths rush out more smoothly than a silent lamb,
A spark lights inside the steel of my chest
And metal melts to wax.
Fingers move more freely up and down
Than they ever while outside the compound
of my sanctuary, my room,
The place where my thoughts do not lurk in the gloom.

Thank you - it is an emotive and expressive poem centring on the themes of introversion and isolation; though the two are not necessarily correlated. A really thoughtful comment - !
