The peaceful night echoed with snores from every home
The dark sky was lit by the dancing stars
Sudden and early the sun beamed from the horizon
Tweets filled the air, as the birds took off and landed
From the humble homes, many woke from deep slumber
Yawns, followed by showers, then cars and bus driving the streets
By afternoon the sun swayed,
The joy filled children played games and the overworked adults gobbled down food
Strike of evening comes around, bring all back home for well deserve rest
After a feast, everyone tucks into bed
Both cozy and warm they drift off
