I’m sick of all the lies.
You know,
The two faced people,
Society of today,
The comments that make us want to fade away,
Threats of someone not okay with gay.

What does this say for us?
Are we cold and forgotten?
Is that why we crave so much attention?
Because you see with your eyes,
not with your heart.

RIGHT!
It’s okay today to tear eachother apart.
Maybe it’s worth the tears and fears,
That pushes us into the dark.

Those with poison on their tongues go farther in life,
And I know it’s not just me,
Who thinks this is not right!

What have we become?
We ought to wear muzzles if you ask me!
Are the fights worth the rights that we’re supposedly guaranteed?

The government’s had enough of it and they're the ones in the lead.
Our only goal in life is to smile,
Wave,
And succeed.

This portrait I see painted here is now becoming more clear
America the beautiful.
The red,
White,
And blue.
