The Afterlife
The afterlife,
A true curiosity,
An idea which causes strife,
And often loss of sanity.
None know for sure what comes when we end,
Not even the Reaper could tell you.
Some believe it might depend,
I believe none of that is true.
The only solace after life ends,
Is that final confrontation with the reaper,
And then you blend,
Deeper and deeper.
Slowly becoming nothing.
This is, I believe, the truth of death,
Some may fear this possibility,
I think it is a great way to spend a last breath,
I’d revel in the opportunity.
This is the truth of the afterlife, I believe.
