How do You Grow?
How can we grow and thrive
In a world working us 9-5?
Where the children grow so quickly to meet new demands
Experiencing the loss of hope so early
A world that is so contradictory
And horribly deceptive to true beauty
Such an awful world where,
Before I even took a step into life I wanted to die
When you come into a disgustingly fake world
Young and sweet becomes broken and hurt
Masks and glory found everywhere
Lies etched into the bone of man
Hearts torn out and left on curbsides
Tears used to fill out new demands
Life is one empty cycle
And when we all realize it, it will be too late

This is a pretty heavily charged one for me.
