Logical Dream
“You just don’t get it, do you Logic?”
“What Dream, what don’t I get?
I don’t get that she wants to risk everything
to follow you?”
“No. You don’t see that it’s possible. It’s what she wants!”
“It’s not logical Dream!”
“Oh of course you would say that!”
“They always say to follow your dreams,
but they never stop to think about the logistics.
She’ll never be able to do this, never.”
“Not if she doesn’t try. Believe me, it’s gonna happen.”
“Not if I keep making her doubt you.”
“Logic no! I want to see her happy!”
“So do I. And for me that means not letting her
heart shatter on an impossible wish.”
“You mean a dream.”
“An impossible dream, whatever.”
“Maybe you’re right. Maybe she has an impossible Dream,
and flawed Logic.”

This is a poem about following your Dreams, but your Logic getting in the way, told by the two themselves. This is a dialogue poem.
