The Decision
May 26, 2016
“Don’t do it!” says my conscience.
“Do it already!” whispers temptation.
“It’s not right!” squeeks the angel on my right.
“Who cares!” croaks the angel on my left.
A decision,
Right or wrong are the choices.
Good or bad the outcomes.
Should I choose what's best for me?
Should I choose what I know is reputable?
A selfish choice.
Consequences soon to come.
I’m satisfied with my choice,
But why do I feel like this?
A searing passion,
In the pit of my stomach.
