The Way She Looked
Timeless,
Eternal,
Hopeful,
Loving.
Lost in her eyes the second of gazing,
Like stars in a telescope in the pitch black sky
Golden across the globe
Shining as bright as the North Star
Beating as fast as the drums of my heart
Racing as fast as a Russian Stallion
Skipping like the stones across the Alaskan ice
Rapidly,
With a voice of its own.
Full.
To the brim,
Overflowing.
The way you look at me could heal thousands,
Could stop the world,
Could change the sun to the moon,
Could cure any disease.
Just with one look…
One look
The world is given.
Everything is donated
Every feeling discovered
Every adventure explored
Just with…
The way she looks.

I wrote this while my girlfriend was hundreds of miles away from me on spring break and I missed her.
