Leaves, Leaves, Everywhere
Leaves, Leaves, Everywhere
Leaves, leaves, everywhere.
Once cloaked in green,
now they are bare.
Their cloaks have been stolen
by Autumn Air;
the air has scattered them everywhere.
They have been trampled,
they have been crushed.
Once, they were cloaks;
now, they are mush.
Underfoot, overfoot,
leaves in the air.
Like snow in the winter,
leaves everywhere.
Leaves, leaves, everywhere.
Once cloaked in green,
now they are bare.
