I Love My Mom
He awoke in bed,
His mom in a fuss
Poor little Danny
Had just missed the bus
He had to get dressed quick,
His mom drove him to school,
But poor little Danny
Looked like a fool
His shirt was lime green
With purple polka dots
Surely with his pink pants
He was certain to get caught
Arriving at his school,
His mom gave him a kiss
And with a blush on his face
This day he wouldn’t miss
As the bell ran
Into the class he lurked,
But poor little Danny
Had forgotten his homework
The teacher told the class
The homework he demands
Then Danny’s mom ran in
With the homework in her hands
Little Danny was in the clear
He had some time to breathe
But as he took a deep breath in
He let out a giant sneeze
The whole class had stopped,
The sneeze was quite a shaker
But when little Danny looked down
He had grossed up his paper
As the clock struck 12:00
The class zipped on by
But little Danny fell on his face
For his shoes he didn’t tie
With a scar on his face
And his back in a hunch
Little Danny had to eat
The leftover lunch
Danny’s tray was full of green
All things he wouldn’t taste,
But then he took a deep breath in
And shoved it in his face
Danny sat in the classroom
Hoping it wouldn’t be worse
Cause for poor little Danny
This day was a curse
When Danny got home
All he wanted was to cry
As he walked into the house
His mom had made him pie
With a grin on his face and
His sadness was a little less
This is just to prove
That moms are the best.
