Sometimes
Some times
I am the sun, shining and pulsing with light and happiness.
Brightening the room with a smile.
Sometimes
I am a river, beautiful and dangerous, loud and unpredictable.
Daring someone to follow me over the waterfall.
Sometimes
I am an eagle, soaring through life, on top of the world.
Capable of anything.
Sometimes
I am morning, waking up the good in the world.
Waking up the earth’s beauty.
Sometimes i am Spring, lifting the flowers from the ground.
Painting the grass green, bringing life back to the planet.
But,
Sometimes
I am the moon, cold and dead.
No light to be seen, darkening the world.
Sometimes
I am a pond, still and silent, slowly flowing into a stream.
But never daring to flow into the river.
Sometimes
I am a wolf, dark grey, creature of the night.
Staying in the shadows, eyes glowing in the dark.
Sometimes
I am the night, bringing darkness upon the world.
Waking up the monsters.
Sometimes
I am the winter, a cold killer, draining the color from the earth.
Stealing the light.
Sometimes
I am nothing.
Sometimes
I am everything.
