Love Struck Keys
I hit the keys and all I hear is the buzz and rings of notes that are oh so wrong
Frustration and stress overrun my mind
It brings me so much suffering, so much rage
I can't do it
I've failed and can't become something more
But when the touch of a hand reaches down,
Placed on the outer of my hand
I look up and see his face,
His smile,
His eyes,
I smile at his presence and he strokes the side of my cheek with the innards of his hand
I conform into his hand to feel the comfort of his life pulsing through his veins
I gaze up and see that look in his eyes,
It's one of intent,
Of determination,
Of love,
He leans down and brushes his lips across my cheek before settling them on my lips
He pulls back, even though I wished it would last longer
He turns me back to the keys of the piano
He knows I'm already discouraged,
But he places my hands on the keys and puts his atop of mine
He plays the song while pushing my fingers and we created the sweetest of romances
We play on,
And on,
And on,
Professing our love through song,
That came from our hearts
