Eye of the Beholder
It happens everyday,
Every time I get caught up in all of you,
Yet today you said "What?"
What?
Am I not allowed to look at you?
Am I not allowed to see how truly beautiful you are?
With your chestnut hair that falls behind your shoulders,
With those breathtaking blue eyes,
And your round face with a button nose,
And who could forget that signature smile,
With those rosy lips,
And that cute expression on your face,
When your lips said "What,"
But your mind knew exactly why I was looking at you.
