Empty
I have cried away all my tears
And now all that is left is the empty:
The absence of the rain
But the perpetual existence of the grey,
The limitless horizon
That forever remains flat and dull,
A widespread ocean of blue and green
Without a wave to stir its heart,
And the empty, echoing drum inside my chest
That tells me I'm still alive
But refuses to let me live.
