Make us Great Again
Yeah, sure, go on ahead,
Make us great again,
I’d like to see you try…
But as long as we’re killing,
Innocent and guilty,
You might have a little bit of trouble
Because even though we’re human
We keep producing
This madness that comes in and
Goes out
And never really leaves us
Because eventually we find
That the problem does not live in us
The problem lives in the fact that we are not willing to trust
That tomorrow might be better like little orphan Annie said
And sometimes we need to get out of our own heads
And follow our hearts
Because He already did his part
For us
So make us great, I dare you,
But I think you’ll find that if you try,
Forever the day we fell will you rue,
And never will we fly.
