Time to step out of my fantasy,
And face the world outside
Where the cold streets sting my feet
And the truth are all lies.
Time to wake up from the dreams,
And into the harsh reality
Where magic is merely fake
And there’s no one to trust.
Time to accept the facts
And emerge from my fanciful life
For it is time to disregard the myths
That I had once dreamt last night.
