Bittersweet
As I laid in the grass and the summer sun,
A tear drop fell from my eye.
An autumn breeze stole it
And it fell through the sky.
It landed on my sister's shoulder,
But on the way it got too cold
And it turned into snow.
It kissed the boy I like on the nose,
Where it melted again
And fell to the ground.
It landed on a tiny seed of hope,
And the spring breeze and summer sunshine
Carried the petals back to me.
