Guardian Angel
Death does not behold us
Not as we all say,
We don’t just fly away somewhere
And darkness turns to day,
Life has more than meaning
More than just a line,
A way that you express yourself
In a pattern hard to find,
A long and mighty battle
Still yet you always seek,
A treasure that that beholds our eye
And were certain we must peek,
The headache makes us dreary
So we fall right to the floor,
We put on all our pretty smiles
Like we never did before,
And in the end we're still not dead
But all our hearts are torn,
Our pride has flown beyond our reach
And our names forever sworn.
