Hypnophobia
At twilight she faces her nightmare,
It seems too much to bare,
Telling herself to be brave, Her courage avoids gloomy grave,
Each evening, horror fills her head,
Dark and dampness lay ahead,
Deathbed dressed with ragged weeds,
Falling on her knees, she pleads,
"Set me free nocturnal fear,
Stop whispering in my fragile ear,
For I need dreamless sleep to thrive
Without it, I don't feel alive."
