Drowning
Can’t they just see that I need help?
I’m drowning,
But no one is answering me.
I’m crying out,
But instead they just rebuke
Chastise
Yell
Don’t understand
That psychological blockades are the hardest to overcome
And I can’t see past tomorrow.
I need glasses to help me see after today
But they yell at me
And tell me
That I can see just fine.
They say that it’s all in my head,
But why don’t they understand
That the pain in my head
Is just as real?
