Overlooked
Dull mornings, red skies
Slow heartbeat, crusty eyes
Life closes in on me as the sun rises
Even though the bright light breaks through the skyline
It all comes to a stop
Everything turns black and white
I can’t breathe
All I see are blurred memories of when I used to care
I tried to escape my fate
I’m just falling in reverse
Please let me see you again before I fall farther
