punching bag
I used to be your punching bag
The kind you punched, but did not break
The kind that made you stronger as I got weaker
I'd sit bruised in the filthy corner
I’d smell the last girl that was here
Thinking she got away
you sit across from me with those fiery eyes
I feel your eyes on my body like
an unwanted stranger
Wondering when you are going to
make your move
I sit in fear
You smile
Marks tattoo my body
You used to treat me so well
Now I'm down on the ground
Seeing only the dark
As you pick me up from the ground tell me I'm ok
then hang me by my neck I slowly fade away
