Dirtt
It’s the simple things in life
Blowing bubbles
Playing in the dirt
And getting stains all over your clothes
That makes a child believe that anything is possible
While sitting on his Little Tikes picnic table
with his jean hat, bright yellow shirt, and cool, blue, plaid shorts
eating PB&J sandwich
The child sees shapes dance in the sky and a story unfold
His friends come by and accompany him to listen to the world around them
For a closer look the child digs deep in the dirt
to find a little friend that pink and squirmy
he stands up to concur the jungle
The motion makes him feel like superman
When he slides down the slippery slope his heart beats fast
Due to the illusion that it will never stop
The sun starts to set, sitting behind the trees giving a heavenly glow
To the world that teaches him
The child sits with his dirty hands dunking the stick in the magic
He thinks about what world he will create tomorrow
