October 20th
he met her,
she was scared of being left again,
he held her in his arms on their first date,
like the stars hold the moon,
all her anxiety drifted away from her when he held her hand,
the sun was shining,
and on the inside she was breaking,
until October 20th,
and that is when I look at him,
even now,
And remember how he saved me,
from the cruel world caving in on my opinions and uniqueness,
from the moment she met him,
the maze of her life,
finally felt like it was off in the right direction.
