A Raven and A Writing Desk
Her and I,
Are like a raven and a writing desk
Always compared,
But never have a similarity
Never contrasted,
So the only thing alike is our opposite polarity
She's always flying up above,
Letting herself get lost in the wind,
But I'm shackled, stagnant,
Along with my unrequited love,
For sometimes it feels as though I've sinned
She sometimes blesses me with her presence,
I wish she would forever be my present,
And no longer my past or future
I'll listen to the tales she tells,
For she has nothing to hide,
Of stories she gathered from awide
But when I can't listen,
I feel,
I look,
Trying to read her as if she were an open book
I see that look in her eyes,
That glimmer and gleam,
Showing me all her wildest dreams
I feel her love for freedom,
Her love for flying,
If she said she loved me back,
She'd be lying
I love her,
Her voice,
Her face,
Her existence,
It's what leads me to have so much persistence
I want to join her,
Be free,
To see,
To love,
To just be,
And she can give that to me

I've recently found a girl I believe is special to me, and that girl could not be any more different from me, which is why I love her.
