I mark my territory in words and poetry,
Each new stanza releasing inspiration
Into the air around me,
So that others might feel the power of its presence
And know that I am here, and I am alive,
And that my poetry will live on
In the golden depths of the world's heart
With its own special place
Carved from the whisperings of my soul.
