Nothing Has Changed
The leaves have blossomed
The cherries have bloomed
The sun shone brighter than yesterday
But yet still nothing has changed
The clock still ticks
Tears still shed
The wind still blows away
nothing has changed
The leaves have crippled
The cherries now white petals on the side
The sun loomed over the gray clouds
But still nothing changed
I still press my back to bark of a dark willow tree
Humming in despair
Hoping that today
Something would change
But I stood still and the world went on
The world flew past
Changing
A step onto the pavement
Something was done
I moved to the world
And change was
Inevitable
