We are millennials.
We are selfish, entitled, lazy, vain -
I could go on and on.
Our priorities are always misaligned.
But…
We are your children, your grandchildren-
And you have nothing good to say to us,
No praise, only criticisms.
Don’t you love us?
Don’t we make you proud?
We have earned not a single compliment,
Nor even silent tolerance?
We are worthy of only your fervent disapproval.
Is this what you wanted for us?
