Her Galaxy
The universe around me
Contains the stars and the sea
Burning brightly
Ever waving
This is my galaxy
The universe I see
Brings joy and wondering
It brings pain, despairing
Round and around
Ever circling
In this galaxy right here
I have joy and i’ve shed tears
Yet in all the pain and sorrow
I’m given hope for tomorrow
Deeply breathing
Life regaining
The universe around me
This galaxy I’m in
I’ve seen guilt, I’ve seen sin
I’ve seen caring and kindness
And I have a peace, knowing
The galaxy’s still holding
Eyes brighter
She’s a fighter
In her galaxy
