May the past be with you
May the past be with you
It’s not who we are,
It’s not what we are,
I’m not extraordinary,
I’m just extra-ordinary,
I don’t like saving friends,
I don’t like them saving me,
They have to save me,
For if they don’t,
Silence will fall.
Just waiting for the hammer to fall,
That’s when it can end,
That’s when time can bend,
We need something new,
Something old,
We need something blue.
You can only be known for your past,
Not the shadow you want cast,
We are all stories in the end,
Just make it a good one,
Eh?
It’s who we were,
It’s what we were,
And what we did.

It's got some hidden quotes throughout it but the moral is something that I have thought up by myself.
