Nothing was the Same, Now that is was different

Life has become about your schooling,
Or how many girls you are drooling over.
Life used to be about who you are,
Not what kind of car
You drive.
Life should be about the kind of person you are,
Not the style of hair
You wear.
Life should be about how you act,
Not the size of the house
You live in.
Life should be about how you treat others,
Not how much money
You make.
Life should be about the legacy you leave behind,
Not the damage
You make.
Life should be the same as it once was,
not different.
