Shattered Heart
As I look into your eyes
I see a girl with a shattered heart.
I feel your pain, I’ve been through that
His lies are bullets which aim towards your heart
You fall and ask yourself, why?
Why wasn’t I good enough?
Tears rolling down your rosy cheeks.
I pick your head up and say,
“You’re worth much more
Don’t let a boy play with your heart.”
You refuse to listen to what I say.
You go back to him and he cheats again
The same cycle begins
Heartbreak; tears drown you
You start realizing what I said is true.
You pick yourself up,
Wipe away the tears,
And show him that you are better off without him.
I’m glad you realized you’re worth much more.
